Ending the Cycle is a board game designed to teach about abusive relationships, with a focus on systems thinking. Players create unique characters caught in abusive relationships. By playing cards, players emulate real life events as they, and their character, try to leave an abusive relationship.

Developed initially with the Galerstein Women’s Center at the University of Texas at Dallas,Ending the Cycle is an engaging way to start a conversation about difficult issues. This game was designed from extensive research and interviews from survivors of relationship abuse. It’s ideal for college campuses, workshops, and other educational settings.
